This oil was recently brought from the Palestinian village Ajjul. Last year, Ajjul won the award for the best olive oil in taste and quality throughout the West Bank. It has a golden colour which is typically desirable for high quality olive oil. Palestinians call it the the liquid gold and like to assert how it fits the Quran’s description of olive oil.
The best harvest for olives comes in a bi-yearly basis, this year's harvest will be less in quantity compared to last year. Hence, prices will likely to increase in the next year.
